Check out a customer from the customer dashboard.

Learn how to check out a customer from the customer dashboard.

1. Go to the center dashboard

Click “Dashboard” in the sidebar to go to the center dashboard.

Alternatively, you can open the Customer List under “Customers” , find the customer in the table, and click their name.

A third option is to use the search bar on the center dashboard and type the customer’s name.

If the customer is currently in your center, the first option is usually the quickest.



2. Click on the customer you want to check out

Click on the name of the customer that you would like to check out.



3. What to check before a checking out a customer

Before checking out a customer, make sure that:
  1. They have no rental equipment left to return

  2. Their shopping cart is empty

  3. They’re not booked for any upcoming events or appointments

4. Click on the checkout button

When you are ready to check out the customer, click on the "Checkout" button.



5. Confirm the checkout to complete the process.

A confirmation modal will appear asking if you’re sure.

Click “Checkout” to finish the checkout, or “Cancel” to go back.

You may also see warnings if something still needs your attention:

  1. The customer is booked for an upcoming event.
    You can click the event to remove the customer from it if needed.

  2. There are still items in the shopping cart.
    Click “Collect payment first” to create an invoice before checking out the customer.

You can still proceed with the checkout even if these warnings appear.
